Confident Kids Support Group
What is Confident Kids?
Confident Kids is a Bible-based support group program that helps families with children ages 4-12 deal with the stresses of living in today’s world. Since 1989, Confident Kids has been used by churches and other Christian organizations to offer hope, help, and healing to struggling families. The heart of the program is the Confident Kids curriculum:
· Facing My Feelings
· Living In My Family
· Growing Through Changes
· Making Wise Choices
Who should attend?
We all live with stress from today’s world. Children are most vulnerable because they don’t always understand or have the emotional maturity to deal with these challenging issues. Confident Kids is for every family, but it is especially helpful for families experiencing divorce, job loss, illness, anxiety & depression, addiction, and single parents. Children will be placed in an age appropriate small group and parents are strongly encouraged to attend the concurrent parents’ sessions.
When & Where?
Confident Kids meets on Sunday nights from 6:30-8:00 at Sicklerville United Methodist Church. The next session, “Living In My Family” will begin Sunday, October 3, 2010.
