Power Point Info

Power Point Presentation Policy
  1. Submit at least two (2) weeks prior to desired showing. In no instance will a Sunday morning "drop off" presentation be made.
  2. Each presentation will be shown at least one Sunday, or more, depending on number of other presentations.
  3. Presentations shown will be of church events/ministries only.
  4. Refer to Outline for creating PPT slideshow before making your slideshow.
  5. All presentations will be shown on a first-come, first-serve basis. Keep in mind that others may have already been scheduled.
  6. Please submit original presentation to Video Team for review or to Kathy Harkisheimer for Spotlight promos.
  7. If approved, your Power Point presentation will be forwarded to the entire video team.

Here is the criteria for creating/showing Power points:

  1. Powerpoint must be a reasonable size. For Spotlight on Ministries - slides running no more than 90sec.  (recommended)
  2. Full size must not exceed 50 MB with music to be embedded. Other wise it must be linked.
  3. No PPT's with music imported or PPT''s that run as an Extension .pps or any other automatic run mode.   Reason (Video Technician needs to have full access to troubleshoot, edit and/or correct ppt.   Different software, PC speeds and other variables sometimes create conflict with our software.)
  4. Picture slides and music must be in wav extension format and be embedded into the power point as instructed.  Caution - slides may not sync with music.  Alternate way is to link music.  If linking music file, the file must be separate from the ppt and given to video team leader to load in church computer.
  5. All PowerPoint’s must be tested on church computer prior to the Sunday of showing.  (Prior arrangements must be made with the Video team leader or Kathy Harkisheimer to review Power Points for presentation.)
