I extend my personal invitation to "sit-in" at one of our fun rehearsals — no obligation! I am confident that once you are there, you'll want to catch the spirit of this dynamic ministry. For I believe that we are all gems in the eyes of the Lord, perhaps even diamonds in the rough. All we need is a little encouragement and some polish to shine. Why not make this your time to shine!

Highlights:

- Learning CD's are provided — NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
- Weekly rehearsals every Thursday at 6:50 P.M. in Room 20
- We sing at all 3 Sunday services on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month (taking the summers off)
- Present full-length Christmas & Easter Cantatas
- Present our ministry of music at special events & other
      churches
- Lowered age requirement to 16+
- Child-care provided upon request

Mission Statement: To assist in leading worship, and to enhance the message and worship experience by providing our congregation with vibrant, passionate and powerful Christian music each time we present our ministry!

As Director, I promise variety, excitement and the opportunity for any person with a heart to sing for the Lord, the chance to learn in a safe & loving environment, where they can be nourished spiritually and emotionally as they grow in confidence and joy. I am humbled that we started with 16 people in February '03, and have grown to an amazing 38 people — Praise God!

I have always had a heart for the underdog, and consider it both a privilege and a challenge to encourage beginners, while still inspiring the seasoned singers, and blending the two into one dynamic group. Through loving guidance on dynamics, pitch, reading and breathing techniques, I strive to "raise the bar," rather than ever lower the standards of the group as a whole. The result has been a blessing for all — both for those of us who serve the Lord through this ministry and those who are ministered to!
