New Members’ Class, for those desiring to officially join SUMC, has begun. It meets every Wednesday in room 20 at 6:45 pm. All persons are required to attend these classes to become members. This 7 session class is Part 1 of a 2-part new members class taught by Pastor Jerry and Pastor Phil. Part 2 is taught by Kathy Harkisheimer. Register by signing up on the bulletin board across from the church office. Questions?

Local Mission Opportunity– Kids Alley
A group will be going to Kids Alley next Saturday, October 11, from 9 am to1 pm, to help with their Saturday program. A team of 4 –10 people is needed and will be helping with the 3 - 6 year olds. Parents and children (10 years old and up) are welcome to attend. Child helpers must be accompanied by an adult. Youth are also welcome to attend and do not need an accompanying adult if they are SUMC approved workers. Please sign up on the Missions bulletin board at the end of the main hallway.

Substitutes Needed
Pioneer Club meets every Wednesday evening from 6:45 to 8:15 and ministers to children 3 years old through 6th grade. Substitutes for regular teachers are needed. If you would like to serve but cannot commit on a regular basis, perhaps being a substitute would work for you.
